July 3rd - 4th 2017

Brian was on night shift for the 4th of July but got off early on the 3rd so we did 4th of July early with Brian at our friend's house.

Lighting off the smoke bombs and the low level fireworks. Except they got one that was supposed to be a level one, it wasn't. It made a loud boom and shot something out, the younger kids freaked!

Sparkler time!

Professional sparkler runner.

All the brave older kids with their sparklers.

The "not so brave" younger child with his sparkler.

Lighting off some of the more fun fireworks. They all survived but didn't enjoy them, haha. Course the people down the street were shooting off huge fireworks in the sky but they were far enough away the boom wasn't as scary and the kids loved them.

This is Breydon's newest angry face, his response to me telling him it was time for bed.

Adleigh wanted star hair. It took some work but I figured it out.

Heading to the parade.

Ready for the goodies!

Loved her 4th of July outfit!

Breydon enjoying his goodies already!

Cool but loud car.

Some floats threw out otter pops which was an amazing idea.

Adleigh and her buddies.

Our patriotic family.

Brian had to head to work and we headed to the local city 4th of July party at the splash pad.

He enjoyed the All You Can Eat Watermelon.

Splash Pad fun!

Of course we had to get slushes!

Adleigh wanted a picture with Kayson.

Always on the go and getting there fast.

So dang cute.

Little face paint. I was very surprised Breydon did it and he picked out what he wanted all on his own.

So serious Superman!

Adleigh getting hers done. She looks nervous but she wasn't.

Some superheros and a patriotic girl.

Wonder Woman!

My little superheros.

Her wonder woman pose.

Waiting for the fireworks to start...

Still waiting for the fireworks. After about 40 minutes we gave up, they were having technical difficulties and we still had a 45 minute drive home. Turns out they never were able to fix them and the show didn't happen. Glad we didn't stay!
