We made it home after being gone for over 2 months. I was not super excited to come back to the cold ( I tried to convince Brian to let me stay in Texas another month but he didn't want to pay for another flight to Texas). So we made it back and it was nice and cold.

Thank goodness for our wood stove! We also brought a bunch of oak wood back with us so that made the fires warmer and last longer which means the fire heat lasts longer through the night.

Austin had his (slightly late) 4 month well child check. He had a slight cold so I tried to make him wear a mask but he didn't appreciate it.

His regular doctor was away on Maternity so we went to a regular family doctor.

Cute little dude. You can see his eczema pretty good in this picture. The doctor gave him some cream for it and it works wonders! The first time I put it on him he screamed for 5 minutes. I felt so bad. But the next day the rash was gone! Now as long as I put it on a few times a week then the rash stays away. No screaming as long as the rash doesn't get too bad. He also got his 4 month shots and handled them better than his siblings. Probably because he was older than the others!
