Brian's family dog is reaching that point where he will soon be running in God's field. So Brian's father decided that he wanted to get another dog and had us looking for a good deal on a chocolate lab puppy.

I found one on KSL for 100 bucks! Rick liked her so I went down and picked her up, handed the guy two fifties and walked to my car.

The guy came running back out and informed me that it was 100 bucks off... Boy did I feel like a genius!

Long story short we ended up paying 150 for her. I guess being dumb sometimes pays off :-)

Meet Miss Roxie

Isn't she cute!?!

We got to take care of her for a week until we met up with Brian's parents in Colorado. Boy was that an adventure!

She did not like to be left alone.. At all! And since we aren't allowed to have dogs in our apartment we had to keep her quiet. So she went everywhere with us!

We went to Jake's parents house in Rangley for mother's days. She was a real trooper. Slept the 4 hour drive there, no accidents in the house and even went out hiking and to a bonfire with us

She also got to meet Bush and Em's 9 month old labs. She was afraid at first but obviously got used to them!

While in Provo she got to go do track workouts with Brian. Hung out with the SFH custodial crew while Brian worked. And played with our horses everyday.

We gave her baths pretty much everyday since she was out with the horses. So cute!

Roxie finally got to meet her parents at the BYU conference championships. She sure was a spoiled puppy! Everyone wanted to pet her and the NCAA camera man even took a picture of her!

I miss that pup but it was fun to have a puppy for a bit. I can't wait until we can get our puppy... HINT HINT honey! ;-)
