Ice Day & Pinterest Fun

Corsicana experienced yet another freezing cold day. Not much snow but tons and tons of ice. Brian had to go into work for just a little bit so we decided to go with him. However, on the way to work, we ended up pulling about 10 stranded cars up a hill. Brian was having a blast being the tough truck that could make it up the iced hill. Adleigh started getting restless in her car seat so we finally left and went to work.
Trying to get a picture in the beautiful iced trees... but she wasn't going for it. P.S. That isn't a binky it is a ring pop.

With Daddy in the Sparkly Trees!
Adleigh got to go "up high" and help daddy do some work.
She wanted me to come "up high" too. I was content to not walk up the iced stairs.
"Hi Mommy!"
Ice is not very fun to play in so we devised some inside entertainment. The cornstarch, water and food coloring did not work very well in the tub.
So instead I sent Brian to the store (it is a two minute drive from our house) to get some plain shaving cream for another Pinterest idea.
This one worked much better!!!
Finally something she can color herself with that comes off easily!
And the aftermath of the painting fun! We now paint in the bath at least once a week. Thanks Pinterest!
