Between Thanksgiving and Christmas we made a quick trip down to Houston to see some friends, The Winders, who had moved away from our Corsicana Ward. They took us to a fun boardwalk amusement park called Kemah Pier.

They had a double-decker merry-go-round that was awesome!

Sadly they have a rule of only one rider per animal. even with babies. So this is what the whole ride looked like.

Next we went on a train that took us around the park. This is a shot of the whole group.

The train ride had some pretty good views.

I was pretty limited on what I could ride thanks to baby#2 but I could go on the observation ride. It takes you up super high and spins around for some great 360 views. Adleigh was not really sure about this ride but handled it very well.

Then we tortured our child and put her on a little kid ride. The ride operator stopped the ride and let her off early.

Next the guys played on of the games since it was only the 3 of them playing we won a stuffed animal! Adleigh was very happy and picked a pink kitty kitty.

For lunch we ate at Bubba Gump's. It was delicious!

Brian wants everyone to know that life is like a box of chocolates!

There was a cool aquarium that we went and looked at for a while. Adleigh is also obsessed with fish right now so she was in heaven.

You could also feed all the rays swimming around in a tank. It was pretty crazy!

Adleigh wouldn't pet them but enjoyed watching everyone.

More aquarium. Adleigh loves Eric and loved being carried around by him the whole time.

The only ones tough enough to go on the crazy rides. This one takes you up really high and drops you. I think they rode it at least 5 times.

We tried the merry-go-round again, planning on sitting in the teacup that spun around. However, another dumb rule is only kids under 5 ft could sit in the teacup. They kicked a poor 8 year old out of it. So we got stuck riding on the immobile chair.

We were going to take pictures of her with Santa but it was $25 just for one 4x6! So instead we took a family shot near the Santa set up.

Thanks Winders we had lots of fun!
