Our First Time Hosting Thanksgiving
12:30 PM
November 24th 2016
Since more of Brian's sibling live up around the Rocky Mountains we convinced Brian's parents to come up here for Thanksgiving. Since we are the only ones who live in a home with more than 3 bedrooms our house was chosen as the place to host. Everyone showed up the night before right before a decent snow storm hit. The boys decided they needed sleds and headed out on the 20 minute drive to the closest Walmart. I warned them not to go since that road frequently gets closed of backed up during snow storms. Lo and behold on their way home they were five miles home and in standstill traffic thanks to a bunch of accidents. After sitting in the car for 2 hours they finally made it home.

More watching of the sledding videos. Breydon may not like to sled but he enjoys watching it. |

Brian and I took a selfie shot since I knew a family shot wasn't going to happen. |

Breydon went down for a nap and woke up right on time for Thanksgiving dinner and boy was his bed hair fantastic! |

The turkey chefs! Brian deep fried his and Matt put his in a brine overnight and then baked it. Side note... Vegetables cooked by turkey, butter and white wine are delicious! |

One of Breydon's older cousins was still down for a nap so Breydon decided to take her spot at the kids table. He was so happy to not be stuck in the high chair. |

Trying to take a group shot but it didn't work out very well with the back lighting. |

Luckily Victor had his selfie stick and Go_pro to take an awesome group shot! |

Not Thanksgiving related but that night one of our chickens laid the tiny chicken egg we have ever seen! Adleigh was super impressed. |

We spent that night playing lots of games which is always fun with the Weirich crew. |
