Can you believe it's been a year since this?

It flew by! And being married to your best friend makes for a super easy marriage. :-)

Our anniversary fell on a Sunday, so we knew we wouldn't be able to do much to celebrate it. So instead we had an anniversary week!

On Monday, Brian took me to go eat at my favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg to get SUSHI! Yum!

Then we didn't do anything for three days because I had to work three twelve's and also got sick.

But on Friday when Brian got off we headed down to San Antonio to hang out with Kim and CJ.

First we went and hung out at the massive Bass Pro Shop and did a little shopping.

They had a massive antler Christmas tree which we would like to replicate someday.

Then we went and ate at Jonny Carinos. I was craving their potato soup but no one else ended up liking their meal. And due to my stuffy nose, the potato soup just didn't taste as good. So that was kind of a bust :-(

Brian was really happy about the food!

Outside of Jonny Carinos. We also made a pact to have our Christmas present/anniversary present next year be a nice camera!

I was feeling pretty sick by this point and we almost just went home from there. But I decided not to be a bum and we headed to the Riverwalk.

I am glad we went! It was really beautiful all lit up with Christmas lights!

You can kind of see the river in the left side of the picture. We want to spend a night in one of the hotels that overlook the river someday.

Then we walked over to the ALAMO! I have visited Texas many times and lived here for over three months and still haven't been there.

It was really an odd thing to see because it is quite literally in the middle of downtown San Antonio. I guess I expected it to be on more of a Ranch or have like a big visitor park area like all the monuments in Utah. But literally one second you are looking at Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum and then you are looking at the Alamo.

The next day was spent driving to Tucson for the holidays!

We were entertained most of the trip by these two guys!

Dude was often on the floor due to the fact that his driving companion is a seat hog.

He is just soo massive!

Today is our actual anniversary! Like the good kids we are... We spent the first few hours at church. We even matched by wearing grey and blue! (Brian got a new gray suit and baby blue tie, pretty snazzy!) however, we didn't take any pictures together...

We were too busy converting our niece to be an Apple lover!

Train them young! :-)

She was not impressed by it. Haha.

The rest of the day was spent being lazy, playing games, eating, walking the dogs and watching a movie.

I'm thankful our anniversary at least fell on a weekend so we could spend the whole day together! I never get sick of hanging out with him!

Thanks for giving me the best first year ever!

Love you!
