September 10th 2016

We don't have cable at our house and Brian really wanted to watch the Holy War aka BYU vs Utah football game. Luckily my Grandparents like us enough that they let us come out and spend the weekend with them and watch the game.

Everybody loves the swing!

We also are buying a steer for meat from a guy in Grandpa's ward. So we went out and got to meet some of the cows. Breydon was in heaven!

Adleigh tried to bribe the cows to eat from her hand.

The cows were very unsure of the little people.

The guy also has pigs and Breydon got up close and personal with one.

Finally convinced a cow it was worth it to eat out of her hands.

Breydon finally made friends too.

Had to take a nap before the big game!

Just in case you were wondering who we were supporting in the Holy War. Sadly we lost but it was a much better game then I was expecting.

Another adventure we had in Logan was catching this little guy. My grandpa has been feeding his stray mother for a while and she had kittens. He hadn't seen the mother in a while but her kittens kept coming around. We decided we would try and catch them (there were three) and Brian said if we caught the black one then we could keep it!

So we trained the kittens to come closer for food and then moved the food into Penny's cage. We attached a rope to the door and waited patiently for them to hop in to get the food. The plan didn't work as well as we thought. I got the door to close once all the kittens were in but they freaked when the door closed and pushed it back open. Luckily Brian was right there to grab the black kitten before it escaped.

We got to take him home with us and he is surprisingly a sweet cat. Still very nervous when you put him down but if you hold him then he purrs like crazy.

Breydon is a little obsessed with kitty kitty. His fourth spoken word is now kitty kitty.

Adleigh loves the cat too. I wrapped him up in the towel the first time we held him to keep him from scratching. Adleigh thought it was to keep him warm and insisted on using it whenever she held hi.

Our newest Halloween decoration :-). After much debate Adleigh decided to name him Bolt. Yup that is apparently a popular movie in our house, Bolt and Penny both named after that movie. :-)
