July 1st - 4th 2016

Brian ended up getting an extra day off for 4th of July weekend which was awesome because then we were able to have time to go to SLC and meet up with these fine folks for breakfast. We sure miss hanging out with them!

Then we headed to Provo to hang out with some of the Texas Weirich cousins on their road trip before they headed up to Boise. We took them to the mountains to remind them why they need to move up from Texas.

Adleigh did a pretty good job hiking up the waterfall by herself.

Breydon stayed at the bottom but enjoyed picking up all the rocks out of the water.

Family shot at Bridal Veil Falls.

The next day we took a little trip back to SLC for their Farmer's Market. It was pretty cool but way too hot for the kids.

Then we went back to Provo to go to the Stadium of Fire. We met up with our friends who were visiting from Russia but I am a slacker and failed to take any pictures of them. Here Adleigh is waiting patiently for Hannah to come so she could go sit with them.

We sat literally at the very top of the stadium so that we could have a back rest and so greyson could play on the stairs right in front of our seats. It was a great plan!

Watching the sky divers.

Adleigh freaked out when they blasted off some random very loud cannon's and then was not happy the rest of the time.

So glad we spent tons of money on her ticket to bring her. lol.

It got pretty loud so we decided to make Breydon wear his ear protection, he loved them.

And then they both fell asleep for almost the whole program.

Enjoying Tim McGraw. Look at those cheeks! They both woke up when the fireworks started so they  at least got to see that part!

The next day our truck had an appointment to go get the interior detailed. (Penny had a lovely accident on the front seat... awesome). Breydon was so tired that he slept through us pulling the whole car seat out of the truck and through most of the appointment.

Then we headed to University Street in Provo to go save a spot to watch the parade. Provo is literally crazy and you have to save your spot the day before. You also can't leave your stuff to save your spot or the police will move it. So Brian was nice enough to spend the night at our spot to save it.

Breydon did this the whole time we were there the day before. Super safe.

The next day we headed back nice and early to hang out with Brian.

Waiting for the parade to start. Penny was a wimp and had to be held the whole time.

Dancing to the music.

Family shot. My kids are so cooperative.

Breydon watching the parade.

It finally started! The parade was way too long and gave out zero candy so Adleigh was not very impressed. But all of us adults enjoyed it. :-)

The kids both passed out after the parade. We then headed up to go see our friends visiting from Russia again and I again took zero pictures. Too much fun catching up I guess. :-) Then we drove back home.
Celebrating the 4th at Home!

Happy 4th!

We sure are lucky to raise our kiddos in this wonderful country!
