January 18th - 20th 2018

We flew Brian back to Texas and into the Dallas airport because it was significantly cheaper. So I drove up a day early to spend some time with my sister.

Breydon started trying to take his shirt off for some reason? Managed to get himself like this and then complained for me to fix it.

On the drive up there we stopped and met my old college roommate Nicole at Chick-Fil-A. It was a blast getting to see her again!

Adleigh and Klara will be roommates as well.

We made it to Aunt Marah's! So glad Aunt Megan did not give my child that gun for Christmas!
We went on a walk and Austin was finally old enough to try a new position. He was clearly super impressed.

Adleigh was walking the dog. She had it tied around her waist. Thankfully Penny was very obedient this trip.

Playing at the awesome park in their neighborhood.

Swings!

Investigating the hole in the tree and helping Russell find specials.

Marah is a much more organized person and does chatbooks. The kids were very impressed. I have looked into doing them but never actually pull the trigger. It would be so much money to back print all my old posts but I would feel bad just starting with books right now.

Superheros! Too bad y'all live so dang far away!

Austin getting a quality nap in. Pretty sure this is about the time that he started to regress in his night sleeping.

Russell loved the baby!

My kids are the craziest sleepers. This is why they don't sleep in wood cribs (they slam into the sides hard) and sleep on queen beds (they roll off toddler and twin beds).

After picking up Brian, we hung out with the Kofords a bit more and then headed on the road. We stopped for a quick bit of food with the Hazelbush's. Breydon and Lily were born the same week despite being due almost a month apart. She was very late and Breydon was two weeks early.

Adleigh and Brookly were best buddies at the shop in Corsicana. We sure miss living close to them!
