Yellowstone with Mamaw and Papaw

Brian's mother comes to every single birth of a grandchild. Brian's brother's wife was due to have a baby the end of June. Rick decided to have them come up early so we could take them to Yellowstone again. They hadn't been in the summer since Brian and I first got married. As a bonus our niece MacKenzie came up with them as well and Adleigh was in heaven!

| The first day we stayed just in Grand Teton National Park. We had a campsite in the area so decided to stick around there and explore. |

| While we were driving we ran into a momma grizzly and her two cubs. Not even 2 miles down the road we ran into a momma black bear and her two cubs. Pretty crazy! |

DAY 2
 |
| We headed up to Yellowstone bright and early. Yup they got so much snow in the winter that there was still snow in some places. All the Texans were freezing! |

| Next we went to Old Faithful. It was slightly foggy so the geyser didn't stand out really well but still cool to see. Then we ran into some super cute park rangers. |
 |
| Then we had to go get some homemade ice cream at the Old Faithful Lodge. Yes Breydon did have ice cream in his... just not much. :-) |

| I had to force my animal loving father in law and husband to stop and check out some of the sites. Literally all they wanted to do after Old Faithful was drive around and look for wildlife. Luckily I pulled out the pregnancy trump card and reminded them I needed to get out and walk frequently or I would swell. In the background is a waterfall but I only had my zoom lense so you can't really see it because I couldn't get back any farther from the kids. Whoops. |

| And the famous Yellowstone road blocks. Some Bison decided to hang out in the middle of the road for a while. |

| We went for another little hike and found some bison relaxing very close to the path. |

| And then we ran into a bison who was really close to the path. We waited a while but he wasn't moving further away so finally they had to just go for it. Can you tell Adleigh was a bit nervous? |

| Bison selfie! Don't worry they were the appropriate distance away. Some people got much closer but this big guy didn't seem to care. |

| Taking the kids to see the Dragon's mouth, it totally scared Breydon. |

| We also saw Brian and Adleigh's dopplegangers, pink coat, checkered shirt and jeans and old faded hat. Lol. |
DAY 3
 |
| It isn't a Weirich party without Ladder Ball. Brian was nice and let Adleigh play on his team. |

| Also our fabulous new tent that we waited over 2 years for it to go on sale! Brian can stand up in it! |

| We went to Jenny's lake because Adleigh really wanted to ride the boat and so far we have struck out on her riding the boat. |

| The boats were open! Not the shuttle boats but we got to go on a boat tour. |
 |

| We literally landed on the shore and a crazy windstorm and hailstorm hit. The boys took the kids and booked it. My pregnant self waddled as fast as I could. :-) We stopped at the gift shop to wait it out but it didn't stop so we booked it to the car and headed to Pocatello. |

| After leaving Yellowstone we drove to Pocatello to go help park Brenda's 5th wheel. Adleigh got to play dress up with Kenley. Purple is a good color on Adleigh! |

| Cousin Kenzie was skinny enough to it into a costume as well. |

| Poor Breydon, stinks to be a little brother of a girl... |

| We ended the day by bribing Breydon with playing in the sink so that we could cut hit hair. |
