Church...
4:28 PMSo Brian and I went to go look at the church where we are having our reception. We were told it was a small multipurpose room and did not have basketball hoops... boy were we lied to! I'm not even sure why we were lied to, its not like we are paying them anything for the church.
The place is HUGE. You can separate it into smaller rooms but then you have a lovely partitioned wall. Well actually no matter what there is a partitioned wall... blah.
Oh and there are definitely basketball hoops. Big ugly basketball hoops. Blast.
You can make places like these look good but it takes lots of time and money.
So hopefully we can find a new cheap place quickly or else lots of people are going to be helping us decorate!

Grandma promises her friend didn't think there were basketball hoops. Maybe she's only been in the cultural hall when it was partitioned??? Or we're so used to seeing basketball hoops in every church, that we don't notice any more???
ReplyDeletei hated that i had to have my reception in the cultural hall...i loved how everything turned out and i had a blast! but still sad that i had to cover up the stupid hoops. anyway...you live in utah! there are tons of fun reception places! have you looked at the bungalow? http://www.bungalowwedding.com/
