Cousin Russell Turns 1!

My sister Marah lives about an hour and a half north of us in a fabulous new house. Her firstborn Russell David turned 1 on October 7th and she threw him a fabulous Cookie Monster birthday party. We went up the night before so we could spend some more time with them.

| Adleigh was not very happy that she could not open Russell's presents. So instead she just stared longingly at them. |

| Marah's neighborhood threw Russell a party! Ok not really but they had their fall festival on the same day so we all went to check it out. They had a free petty zoo and Adleigh was in heaven. |

| Adleigh needs a micro pig STAT! |

| Riding the horses. She was in heaven! |

| This is Popcorn. Adleigh was really excited to ride the princess horse not that you can tell by her face. |

| And she had to ride the big horse too. |

| She wanted to ride the little horse again and insisted on riding the purple horse. This girl needs a horse too. |

| Besides animals there were also some carnival rides. I was surprised when Adleigh asked to ride this one. It spun around in circles pretty fast but she watched it and wanted to ride. |

| Brave girl on the ride. She got a little scared when the ride started but calmed down by the end. She didn't want to ride it again though. |

| After the festival we went back to the house and celebrated this handsome dude! He was much better at the smash cake than Adleigh was. |

| Adleigh was very helpful when it came time to open presents. |

| Breydon was really helpful eating the wrapping paper. |
 |
| After the party was over we had to leave to drive 5 hours down to Fredericksburg for a baby blessing. Thanks to a car accident the drive ended up being close to 7 hours. The iPad was the only thing that made Breydon happy for a tiny bit. |
