| Our sweet little baby is one month old! At 1 month old he weighs 10.1 lbs, in 0-3 month clothing and size 1 diapers. On Sept 4th, he gave us some awake smiles! On Sept 8th his umbilical cord fell off, took forever! He doesn't eat on a schedule goes 1-3 hours depending on his mood. Wakes every 2-3 hours to eat at night. Does not like to side nurse, usually makes him super grunty. Had a period where he was waking at 3-4am to 7-8am and being super grunty and wanting to nurse constantly. I stopped drinking milk hoping that would help him stop grunting so much and spitting up a ton. Has baby acne but it's not really red so not super noticeable. Still has lots of hair and it's still an auburn color. Still has some hair on his shoulders. Eyes seem to be getting lighter blue. Stork bite on back of neck and birthmark on right eye under the eyebrow, between his eye brows, small one on right eye lid and a little tiny one on his upper lip. Puts up with tummy time pretty well but doesn't really do much moving until he gets mad. Pretty strong neck, was able to throw his head around when hungry even in the hospital. Liked being swaddled when he was first born, couldn't sleep without it but now loves stretching out his legs and arms. He can grab things like your clothing when he is mad. Will take a pacifier if you force him but he doesn't love it. Pacifier makes him really mad if he wants to eat. Still does the adorable little bird peck on your shoulder if he wants to eat. Great burper. |

| Some highlights from the month are: Being born! Duh! :-) Going home to Wyoming First Doctor's Appointment Getting to spend 12 days with Mamaw at our at our house Surviving a torn apart house while we installed tons of new lighting Grandpa visiting for a week and Grandma visiting for a month First Bath First Sunburn (whoops) 2 week Dr Appt weighed 8lbs 2 oz and was 20.5 inches. We should add that he didn't enjoy his hour+ with grandma each evening (pacifier & Tummy time) while mom was putting siblings to sleep ;)
