Brian got sent out of town for work due to his normal field being shut down a month for sage grouse breeding, fun stuff. He was originally in Casper but 4 days before Adleigh's birthday he got moved to another location about 7 hours away. So the plan originally was to drive out and spend the weekend with Brian and then celebrate her birthday out there but then all that went out the window. I mentioned to Adleigh that Daddy might not be around for her birthday and she freaked. So her birthday got postponed until April 10th when Brian would be off. On her actual birthday I tried to make it as fun as possible for her despite her not knowing it was her actual birthday.

| We started the day out with our birthday tradition of donuts at our favorite donut shop; Cowboy Donuts. |

| Next we stopped by Petco and spent probably 90 minutes there. We ran into a woman who came in with her pet snake and both my kids actually touched it, I was shocked! |

| We met one of Adleigh's friends at McDonald's to play and of course eat the tiny ice cream cones. |

| Next I let her open a few presents to start her birthday week. I then let her open one everyday until her "birthday" just to keep her excited. |

| She also got a helmet for Grandma Cathy to replace the one that dang Penny had chewed up a few days before. This is her unicorn pose. |

| Next we headed to the Rock Spring Mall and Adleigh sweet talked me into letting her ride this around the mall. They had a blast and Adleigh was a very good driver! |

| We finished the night eating pretzel bites (per Adleigh's request) and played in the little play area at the mall until it closed. I think she had a pretty fun 4th birthday even if she didn't know it was her birthday. |
