May 5th - 10th 2017

While Brian was away for work we headed to Utah to help my Grandparents work on their garden.

We went to the coolest green house in Cache Valley, it is the one that supplies all the other green houses in the area.

Pulling the cart can get hard so sometimes you have to ride in the cart.

Waiting for mommy to finish looking at all the plants.

They got bored and decided they needed to pick out some more plants.

Great Grandma felt tough enough to carry a heavy load.

Adleigh was feeling tough too!

Dirty little boy!

Grandpa finally got a new swing cover so the kids spent lots of time enjoying it.

We spent a lot of time digging in the dirt and finally got Adleigh used to worms. Her holding a worm is a really big deal!

Breydon got better with worms too... not as good as Adleigh but this was progress.

Adleigh caught a weird virus and had a few random spikes of a high fever and a nasty cough. I took her to Urgent Care hoping to get some good cough medicine to help her sleep at night. Sadly they don't prescribe cough medicine to kids anymore but she did get some antibiotics.

Went went to church with my grandparents and Adleigh made this pretty rose in class out of  play dough.

I told Grandpa that I had been looking for a specific type of evergreen tree. He had to take us to the big nursery in Cache Valley and of course they had the tree.

Playing on the rocks at the nursery.

Finished my big project for the week, weeding and getting new flowers planted in their front garden. Pretty sure it hadn't been weeded in a while. Luckily with the power of Grandpa's tillers we were able to get it cleaned up.

Adleigh wearing some of Grandma's clip on earrings.

My Grandma's self heater does not function. She had the house at 76-78 and could still go to sleep in flannel pj's. My kids on the other hand... are used to sleeping in 60.  Can you tell?

Loading up to go home. I managed to fit it all!

Penny enjoyed being promoted to the front seat since the plants took up the whole back.
