Adleigh decided she wanted to do some finger painting so I made some edible finger paint for Mr. Breydon. It was a hit!

Adleigh takes the term finger paint very literally.

Adleigh is a great older sister, always willing to feed Breydon food she found on the floor. Yum.

We have to paint almost naked since Adleigh enjoys painting herself more than the paper.

We had a nice blizzard so for FHE we decided to make an ice cave.

Adleigh climbing into her ice cave that she referred to as her Elsa Castle.

Adleigh's first "human" drawing. This is her picture of Brian.

Jumping in puddles and yes she is wearing a cowboy boot and my high heel. She was surprisingly coordinated jumping in those.

iPads make great mirrors!

Visiting the horse stalls is a weekly activity for our family. Adleigh loves this little horse and tells everyone that her Papaw is going to buy her a spotted baby pony.

Breydon enjoys looking at the cute dude in the mirror while I get ready.

Our city puts on a little play group called Kids In Motion. They have lots of fun stuff for the kids to play with and it is really nice to go to when it is cold outside.

Breydon enjoying his time at Kids in Motion.

Breydon thinks shaving cream is very delicious. Needless to say he can't play with sister's tub paint anymore!

Adleigh's first bloody nose. She and Hank were playing outside and he knocked her over into a hard pile of snow. Also she requested that I take this picture...

Post bath adorableness!

Why are dog kennels so exciting to tiny humans? Hank doesn't understand the appeal either.

Breydon loved my birthday balloon.

So fun story. Adleigh's room had a lock on the door knob that can only unlocked with a key that we do not have. I never thought much about it since Adleigh has never been one to lock a door. However one Sunday morning while I was getting ready she decided to lock the door and was unable to unlock it herself. We spent about 15 minutes trying to talk her through unlocking it herself but I think she was too frustrated to get it. So Brian tried to pick the lock and then tried to use a credit card but that didn't work. Finally he had to pull the trim off the door and got it unlocked. Adleigh never freaked out the whole 30 minutes she was in there!
Breydon is finally starting to be ok with sitting in a stroller which makes going on walks so much more enjoyable.

It warmed up enough that we could finally go back to the park!

  1. Breydon looks so different with his hair cut, and that last photo of Adleigh could have come out of a magazine!
