August 18th - 23rd 2016

Brian got put on night shift and our kids aren't very good at being quiet. So I decided to take Brenda and the kids out to Pocatello to hang out with Josh and Sarah to let Brian have some sleep for a few days.

As we were loading up the car to head out Breydon fell off our step and nailed his head on the concrete floor.  Then we  got to Josh and Sarah's house and he fell and hit the other side of his head on the wall corner. So it gave him so nice horns. Poor kid!

Sarah took us to a fun park and the kids enjoyed the sunshine.

Breydon is seriously a little goofball.

My kids sleep like crazy people.

Our sister-in-law Hannah had a baby shower down in Provo. Sarah really wanted to come but her husband had to work and they only have one vehicle. So we decided to rent a vehicle that would fit all of us... sadly it was a minivan. But we had fun on our little road trip.

When we were down in Provo it was BYOBowl to 7-11 for slurpees. Uncle Kevin brought this back for the kids. They were in heaven!

This little boy has a sweet tooth and was the lone survivor of the ginormous slurpee.

This is house to watch a movie! After hanging out for a while we drove back the same day to Pocatello. the kids handled the drive very well.

Since we still had the minivan the next day we all went for a drive up the canyon to explore.

Adleigh is never afraid to get her feet wet.

Breydon and I enjoying the hike to the top of the mountain that overlooks Pocatello.

Breydon was very good at making sure Corbin had his binkie.

Sarah cuts hair and Breydon was in dire need of a good haircut.

Post hair cut handsomeness.

We took a trip to Costco, my kids loved these ginormous bears.

This semi ginormous bear was super cheap and solved a problem we had with Breydon's bed. We have baseboard heaters so Breydon's bed can't be pushed all the way up against the wall and it leaves a huge gap. I had stuffed blankets into the crack but Breydon still rolls into that area and get stuck. So I thought putting the bear in corner of the bed would keep him from rolling into the crack. After we bought the bear and were eating lunch Adleigh kept talking about how much she loved her new bear. I knew if I tried putting it on Breydon's bed we would have some bear battles.
So I went back and bought another one... at least it will make their beds match each other. Breydon enjoyed his car ride home.

The bears make great chairs for watching movies.

The next day we drove back home and the bears worked perfectly! Yes I need to finish stripping the wall paper but the previous home owner put it up with super glue! That stuff is so hard to take off. :-(

Breydon was so glad to see his Daddy! We didn't get to see him very long though before he had to head to work. His 4 shifts of nightshift ended up being 2 weeks of night shift. Blah.
