March 18th - 20th 2016
Brian ran the 800m race for BYU track and that race is not a sprint but not long distance so the 800 runners generally practiced on their own. The group of runners that Brian ran with nicknamed themselves 880. We had a reunion with them back in 2011 so we were due up for another. Luckily Drew & Kristen had just finished Orthodontic School and had moved to Grand Junction Colorado (only 4 hours from us)!
Save us!!! |
Doing this was a lot more terrifying that the picture makes it look. We were on a rock overhang with a good 200+ foot drop below us. |
Yay no kids! lol |
After hiking around for a while we headed back and got some lunch at a little mexican food place next to Drew's practice. When we finished eating we had to go check out the new place! |
Breydon and Blakely. |
Abby, Adleigh and Mel being cheerleaders. Pretty sure we could have left Adleigh there and she wouldn't have cared. |
Some track practice for the kiddos. Adleigh may be cheating a little... |
All the beautiful girls! The Foster's girls had a little program for their preschool and it was followed by an Easter Egg hunt. |
Brendan got to meet the Easter Bunny for the first time. He was super impressed. |
Adleigh loved the Easter Bunny too! Obviously not scared enough to stop eating though. |
Since Adleigh wasn't quite three yet she got to start with the 0-2 group. Oh boy did she dominate all the kids in that age group! She had a full basket before the 3-5 group started! |
Breydon figured out the hunt pretty well. He would crawl over and find an egg and then put it in his bucket. I was very surprised how fast he figured it out. |
Checking out the loot! |
Adleigh and her basket of Baby Ruth's. Yup every single candy was Baby Ruth... gross. |
The guys spent lots and lots and lots of time competing against one another... old habits die hard. Here they are playing slam ball. |
Another competition was the egg toss. This is a very close distance for them, they were throwing it two house lengths! |
880 ~ James, Brian, Drew and Keith. Just missing Justin who had to work. |
