Our new home is literally one minute away from the 530 that takes you down along the Flaming Gorge and is a very beautiful drive. We drove that down and then cut across and came back along the 191 which drops you off a few miles outside of Green River. We barely made it back coming on the 191 because they don't plow it and the wind forms some huge snow drifts on the roads. Luckily Brian knows how to drive in drifts pretty well and we made it through!

We pulled off a few times to explore the area.

Brian teaching Adleigh the correct form for a snow angel.

Adleigh's snow angel. The snow was nice and fluffy. Perfect for snow angels but not good for snowman unfortunately.

Trekking along in the trees. Adleigh kept purposely falling to make snow angels so she got carried a lot.

In the winter wonderland. Not sure why Brian decided to wear jeans. Luckily hauling the kids through the deep snow kept him warm. We need to invest in some snow shoes!

Snow Bunnies!

Oh no! She fell again!

Hank clearly enjoyed himself.

Some of the pretty scenery. We found lots of spots that we would like to camp.

Hank was supposed to be in his kennel in the back but jumped in with me. Apparently he was cold but he is a pain to drive with! He doesn't settle down and tries to jump on the driver the whole time. This is me trying to keep him down at my feet.

Breydon thought it was hilarious when Hank was trying to crawl on him.

Quick phone shot as we were driving over the bridge.

Selfie at the dam. The wind was blowing there like crazy (notice Breydon's awesome hair?) so we did not stay there very long.

We went down to a scenic overlook of the back side of the dam. It was pretty impressive!

Dam Selfie, Ha!

Adleigh running back to the truck. She refused to put her coat on so she was cold!

Flamin Gorge is such a beautiful area! I can't wait until we can go explore it more in the summer.
