Avery's Birthday Party ~ San Antonio Aquarium

Cousin Avery's 1st birthday was actually on Thanksgiving this year so her parent threw a party the day before. It was held at the new San Antonio aquarium that also has a bounce house area. The kids were all in heaven!

| Adleigh really enjoyed the frosting on the cupcakes... but only the frosting. Ha! |

| If you have your birthday party here you also get to have a close encounter with on of the animals. I can't remember what kind of lizard this was (dang it!) but they said normally even the captive ones are really aggressive but this one is really gentle for some strange reason. I was in love with his large cheeks! |

| Adleigh was brave and was one of the first ones up there to pet it. |

| Having fun in the bounce house! He even went down a few slides on his own. |

| We didn't see Adleigh the whole time they were in the bounce house. She was off going crazy with her cousins and had a total blast! |

| We finally dragged all the kids out of the jump house area and into the actual aquarium part. We should have dragged them out earlier because it was freaking amazing in the aquarium! |

| The aquarium had lots of areas where the kids could actually interact with the animals and Adleigh was in heaven! |

| So we all totally thought this was a statue... it wasn't! They let this tortoise just roam around the aquarium. Breydon was excited to meet someone who crawls as fast as him. |

| We also got to hold a Scarlet Macaw and it was awesome! |

| Adleigh was scared of the bird for some odd reason... silly girl! |
