Insomnia

I can't sleep... Blah! I think it is a combo of nasty humidity, Pintrest, and still being freaked out about living in the city. Yes after 2+ years of living in the country I am worried about our house getting broken into because we live in the city now... And cities are scary places. Or I am just paranoid... :-)
So for the sake of my grandparents I figured I would post some lovely pictures of Adleigh. I'm still working on her birthday party post. I need to get some pictures off my camera.
I turned my camera to front view and she enjoyed making faces at herself. Seriously she is vain! When she is super cranky; all I have to do it play videos of herself and she is happy. I've tried videos of othe babies and that doesn't work. Just videos of her. :-)
Adleigh got these jammies a while back from our good friend Emily and they finally fit her! I love the bum!
I call this Hipster Adleigh. She popped out the lenses... I guess she knows what's fashionable already!
Adleigh's first experience with a dandelion. Obviously intrigued! She thought it was pretty cool when I blew it and then I was mad at myself for spreading the seeds all over my lawn (homeowner problems).
On Easter Sunday, Adleigh and Ian were very helpful during the Relief Society lesson! Luckily Sis. Powell was amazing and able to teach a great lesson even with two adorable distractions. :-)
I love how close Adleigh is to Ian in age! It's fun to watch them interact and get into mischief together.
Adleigh also has a good buddy just a few weeks younger than her and we got to go to her Frozen themed birthday party! It's so crazy they are a year old!
How to make Adleigh happy in two easy steps. 1) Give her a glass bottle 2) Give her another glass bottle to bang into the first glass bottle. Yup we are awesome parents who let our child play with glass bottles... But they seem pretty solid!
And last but not least: super delicious baby in a towel!

I LOVE the pajamas, but the sunglasses are great too - and the hooded towel. She looks darling in all :)
ReplyDeleteshe's so cute! i'm sorry you can't sleep. does part of that have to do with being a mom?? ever since i had tucker, when i wake up in the middle of the night it takes me forever to go back to sleep! tucker LOVES watching videos of himself too, so you don't have the only vain baby. :)
ReplyDeleteJodi: Holy moley it is terrible going back to sleep. That is why we co-slept for so long; it made it so that I didn't have to fully wake up to nurse her. But once we move to where she had her own room Brian said no more to the co-sleeping. Luckily she is mostly sleeping through the night now.
