Group Date!
1:13 AMWe went on a MASSIVE Weirich Family group date tonight. We had four other couples ( Chris & Jessica, Kim & Cj, Matt & Laci, and Kevin & Taylor) join us in San Antonio for a fun filled night.
We started the night off at Bass Pro Shop. Brian and I are saving for a house so we had to control ourselves and not buy anything!

After getting a snack at Chick-fil-a (there are only four fast food places in Fredericksburg, so we eat lots when in S.A.) we headed to downtown S.A. and headed to the River walk.
Since Taylor was still at a speech competition we had to wait to eat so we walked over to go see the Alamo. We never actually made it to the Alamo because we got distracted by the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum.
We spent so much time there that we were worried we were going to miss our reservation so we headed back to the River Walk.
We should have stayed at the Alamo, they told us we still had a 40 minute wait! (they told us an hour and fifteen minutes at 7:20 and at 8:00 it was an hour until we complained and got it down to 40 minutes)
Kim, Laci and I waiting at Hard Rock Cafe.
We finally got seated and I was very excited for my twisted macaroni (spicy macaroni and cheese, yum!). And we enjoyed a good two hours of eating and being crazy.
Blurry picture at Hard Rock Cafe, however it's the only one with Kevin because...
The waiter cut him out in the good picture! Haha, I think the waiter must have wanted Kevin's date, Taylor! (Kevin is next to me in the top picture)
Me & Brian, Jessica & Chris, Matt & Laci, Kim & CJ, and just Taylor!
Next I convinced everyone we needed gelato! So we found a place along the River Walk that sold some. Bri and I got hazelnut and vanilla, but Bri hated it cuz he thought it tasted like coffee.
Then we went to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (see us Fredericksburg peeps love us some food! Lol) and Brian scored Kim and CJ free candy cuz he told the guy the score of the Knicks game.
After a walk around the River Walk and lots of picture taking, we decided to call it a night. After all we still had an hour drive to get home.
The whole group on a bridge over the river. We struggled finding good photographers...

It was a great night, we had tons of fun! I think we are going to try to make the massive date a monthly tradition!
